YouTube Creates Good PR By Allowing Developers To Create Their Own YouTubes

YouTube is giving away tools that let Web developers tap the underlying database functions of YouTube, in effect allowing users to build their own YouTubes. The incredibly popular video-sharing site said on Wednesday that it is providing wholesale access to YouTube's extensive video library, global audience, and the underlying video hosting and streaming network that powers YouTube. This is good PR for YouTube as they have esablished themselves as such a strong and trusted brand that people not only want to create their own video-sharing sites, they want to it exactly like YouTube. Eric Auchard has more on this story.
