Business.com has acquired all traffic and assets of the now-defunct work.com, which served original content up to small and mid-sized businesses. Work.com enjoyed 600,000
unique visitors each month but ceased operations March 31. Business.com, which skews to a slightly more macro-business audience, had approximately 1.2 million unique users in
March. The site features a business-only search engine, a proprietary database of 400,000 business sites, profiles of 64,000 U.S. and international companies, and breaking
business news.
