Whitney Press is an account supervisor in the brand marketing practice in Washington, D.C. She brings 8 years of integrated marketing communications experience to her clients. Her areas of expertise include strategic planning, platform and message development, media relations, social media engagement and event planning. Currently, Whitney works on brand equity and corporate social responsibility programs for major consumer brands including The Clorox Company, The Hershey Company and Toshiba.
 
Whitney currently oversees programming for The Clorox Company's brand-building programs. She previously worked on health and wellness programs for Clorox, focused on educating moms about how to keep their families healthier by preventing the spread of cold and flu viruses with programs. She helped lead the successful Check-ins for Checkups campaign in partnership with the Children's Health Fund, and leveraged their Mobile Medical Unit to generate media coverage with media in key local markets. The program was awarded the PR News' Platinum PR Award and a Public Relations Society of America Bronze Anvil.
 
For The Hershey Company, Whitney manages health & wellness and CSR programs as part of her work supporting the company's strategic communications initiatives.  She helped generate awareness and media coverage on a national and local level for the Hershey's Track & Field Games, one of the first CSR programs dedicated to youth activity. She was also responsible for driving content development and media events for Moderation Nation, that shows how moderation can fit easily into daily routines and reinforces that chocolate can be part of a lifestyle of well-being.
