WHAT IS THE SURVEY ASKING?

The Council of PR FIrms has segmented at its Web site, http://www.prfirms.org, surveys for the general public, PR practitioners and students.

Respondents are being asked to choose the companies which they most admire, with a list that includes General Electric, Southwest Airlines, Intel and Walt Disney.

Data collected from the public will likely be invaluable for your firm because it will help pinpoint what consumers are looking for in a company. In the survey, respondents are asked to rank from least- to most-important:

  • Quality of management
  • Quality of products/services
  • Innovativeness
  • Longterm investment value
  • Financial soundness
  • Employee talent
  • Social responsibility
  • Use of corporate assets
