Besides awards, what else do editors and reporters mull over when deciding if you deserve ink? Here are some:
- If independent journalists (those not affiliated with their pubs) have given your co. coverage;
- If your product can fit into an analytical, "big-picture" piece, such as a product-comparison round-up;
- How high up on the awards list your company was: was it No. 217 out of 500 or number 499?
- Who your company's private investors are; and
- Whether a well-respected industry leader is backing your firm financially.
