President
Karen Friedman Enterprises, Inc.

Karen Friedman is one of the leading communication coaches in today’s business world. An award–winning television news anchor and reporter whose breaking coverage of local and national events aired on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, the Today Show, Good Morning America and Nightline, she now teaches executives, spokespeople and celebrities across the globe how to make the most of every interview, appearance and presentation.

Karen’s expertise in message development was first recognized when a U.S. delegation led by former First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton tapped her to provide media and political training for women in Souh and Central America. She continues to counsel key opinion leaders across the world and has helped scores of companies roll out global speaker’s buraus and training programs.

For more than a decade, spokespeople have been relying on Karen’s know–how to develop and deliver meaningful messages during nationwide awareness campaigns, manufacturing shutdowns, Justice Department inquiries; product launches, investor and community meetings, employee presentations, chemical spills, government hearings and the drug approval process. She taught journalism at the University of Wisconsin and once ran for a hotly contested seat in the Pennsylvania State House.

Frequently quoted by publications such as the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and Harvard Business Review, Karen is a professional speaker who has repeatedly received the International Association of Business Communicators coveted tp rated speaker award. She is the co–author of “Speaking of Success”, with best–selling authors Stephen R. Covey (Seven Habits of Highly Effective People), Ken Blanchard (One Minute Manager) and Jack Canfield (co–creator of Chicken Soup for the Soul).

Karen resides in the Philadelphia area with her husband, two sons, neurotic dog and ornery cat.
