Kathy Callahan directs the external and internal communications functions for Ameristar Casinos, a Las Vegas based gaming entertainment company with seven casinos in five states. Her career in corporate communications spans more than 20 years; prior to Ameristar she worked at the corporate offices of Harrah’s Entertainment and Equifax. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami (Fla.) and a doctorate in German Literature from the University of Virginia. She serves on the board of directors of the Hospitality Federal Credit Union, Memphis, Tenn., and Rebuilding All Goals Efficiently, which assists Southern Nevada residents with disabilities to maintain their independence.
