Paul Raab

Linhart PR
Paul Raab is a partner and senior vice president of Linhart Public Relations, a Denver-based PR and corporate communications counseling firm serving regional, national and international clients in a variety of industries. His responsibilities include serving clients, counseling senior executives and developing the firm’s staff and capabilities across its portfolio of accounts, with a particular focus on corporate and business-to-business clients.
Before joining Linhart PR in 2006, Paul was director of communications for Chicago-based A.T. Kearney, one of the largest global management consulting firms and a division of IT services leader EDS. There, he led the communications strategy behind the firm’s successful 2006 management buy-out, directed a team responsible for building the firm’s reputation for thought leadership worldwide, and worked with the CEO and leadership team to align A.T. Kearney officers, consultants and staff in support of the firm’s mission, vision and values. His role included preparing A.T. Kearney officers for effective interaction with industry analysts, and for participation in EDS analyst relations programs. He joined A.T. Kearney in 1999.
Previously, Paul was a senior vice president and account director at Golin/Harris International in Chicago, most recently responsible for the McDonald’s account. Paul’s Golin/Harris team won a Silver Anvil from PRSA for an innovative 1999 public safety education campaign that partnered McDonald’s with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
Before joining Golin/Harris in 1988, Paul held several PR positions in Columbus, Ohio, including manager of corporate communications at Wendy’s International, where he served as the company’s media spokesperson. He earned a B.S. in journalism, summa cum laude, from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, in 1980.
Paul served as president of PRSA Chicago, one of the nation’s largest chapters, in 2002, in addition to serving two terms on the chapter’s board. He joined PRSA in Columbus in 1984. He served as a Silver Anvil judge in 2000, 2001 and 2006, and as a senior judge for the Bronze Anvils in 2001, 2002 and 2003.
His work has been recognized with awards from PR Week, The Holmes Report, PRSA and its Chicago and Colorado chapters, the International Public Relations Association, Business Marketing Association Chicago, the Publicity Club of Chicago and Inside PR magazine. Paul earned his accreditation in public relations from the Universal Accreditation Board and has served as an instructor for the review program offered in preparation for the APR examination. He has spoken on public relations topics at Columbia College, Dominican University, Northern Illinois University and Roosevelt University, all in the Chicago area. Paul and his wife, Sue, live in Boulder, Colorado.
