Wendy Watkins

Wendy A. Watkins is vice president of global corporate communications and public affairs of Delaware North Companies, a global leader in hospitality and foodservice and one of the largest privately held companies in North America, with $2.3 billion in revenues and more than 50,000 employees serving half a billion customers in the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Watkins oversees external and internal communication, public relations, public affairs and corporate brand and reputational efforts for Delaware North and its various operating divisions. Prior to joining Delaware North in 2000, Watkins spent a decade with the Marriott family of companies holding senior roles in corporate communications, public relations and marketing. While at Host Marriott Services, she was instrumental in the development of the company’s corporate brand positioning strategy, which helped earn the company a ranking as one of Fortune Magazine’s Most Admired Food Service Companies. Previously, Watkins held positions with Brandywine Enterprises and LaNier Associates. Watkins received a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri School of Journalism. She is a member of numerous professional, community and charity organizations.
