Jonathan Bellinger
VP of Social Media Strategy

Jon is a Vice President of Social Media Strategy in Ketchum's New York City office. He graduated from Yale University in 2003 with a B.A. in English and History, and works for Ketchum's Interactive Strategies Group. Obsessed with video games, lulz and online culture in general, Jon is an expert at identifying, analyzing and converting emerging internet memes and organic online user behavior into strategic online programming for a wide variety of clients. Jon is fluent in multiple online venues, including search and search marketing, multiplayer gaming, online communities, social networks, wiki platforms and more. He is also fluent in digital content creation, with a deep background in animation, graphic design and film-making from both a branded and user-generated content standpoint.
Dedicated to listening to, translating and synthesizing the many voices of the web, Jon has created successful, measurable social media programs for IBM, Doritos, Cheetos, Kodak, Nokia, Dr. Pepper, 7UP, Haagen-Dazs, Wendy's and other brands. He specializes in authentic and credible online communications and in low-cost, disruptive communications tactics designed to create new news cycles around specific branded initiatives.
Before working at Ketchum, Jon worked for the national CBS Evening News, was occasionally a talking head on the TV show "Best Game Ever" and played music with his band in New York City. More generally, he is a nerd who enjoys Legos.
