Christine M. Barney is chief executive officer and managing partner of rbb Public Relations, a marketing public relations firm with offices in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale. rbb Public Relations was named the 2009 Boutique Agency of the Year by the Holmes Report and the 2008 Agency of the Year by PRWeek Magazine. She is accredited by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and oversees the strategic development of all client programs with an eye toward ensuring that meaningful results are measured and achieved.

Barney develops and coordinates multifaceted communications programs for a variety of clients including Florida Power & Light Company, The Florida Marlins, Language Line Services and BlueCross BlueShield of Florida. Under Barney's leadership, rbb is the only Florida firm to win every major industry award including multiple Silver and Bronze Anvils, Gold SABRE, PR Platinum awards, etc.

Barney's innovative management style and "employee-driven workplace" philosophy put the firm on the Wall Street Journal's Top 30 Small Workplaces list for the last three years. She was a PRWeek 2009 PR Professional of the Year finalist.

Barney sits on the board of the Council of PR Firms, is Immediate Past Chair of the FIU Metropolitan Center, an urban think tank, and is Marketing & Member Services Chair at the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce. She is a winner of the Top 100 Minority Business Awards 2010 Outstanding CEO of the Year and the 2008 South Florida Business Journal Women Who Mean Business Award.
