Bio
Ashley is Director of Strategy Development where she specializes in e-fluentials programs, research and measurement. An expert in market research, strategy development and thought leadership, she performs research and provides consulting services on issues that are of greatest importance to business leaders. Previously, Ashley was Director of Global Marketing at MasterCard International. In this role, she developed global market research and analytic standards to quantify the impact of marketing initiatives on card acquisition and usage. Ashley also helped develop MasterCard's marketing mix models in multiple countries to determine the ROI and optimize various components of the marketing mix. Before assuming her position at MasterCard, Ashley was Director of Research and Analytics at Rare Medium. As director, she developed marketing and communications strategies to help clients such as Cablevision and XM Satellite Radio launch new technologies into the consumer marketplace. Ashley also served as Manager of Internet Market Research at IBM where she conducted numerous qualitative market research studies to help develop IBM’s Internet properties worldwide. She conducted groundbreaking research to reinforce the validity of the Internet as a research tool which won her IBM’s Excellence in Innovative Market Research Award. In addition to her corporate positions, Ashley served as Fund Manager of the World Trade Center Disaster Relief Fund for the New York City Rescue Mission. She was solely responsible for managing and disbursing $300,000 in grants and private donations to displaced World Trade Center employees after 9/11. Ashley also created partnerships with the American Red Cross, Salvation Army and Safe Horizon at Disaster Relief Centers to identify gaps in their ability to meet victim needs. Ashley is a frequent speaker on market research techniques and new media topics with the Advertising Research Foundation, Columbia University and IBM Industry Conferences among her venues. She holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a B.A. in Political Science from Swarthmore College.
