Aaron Woods is a regional public relations manager for LyondellBasell Industries with responsibilities including community, government and media relations, as well as crisis communications for manufacturing sites in Texas and Louisiana. LyondellBasell is a global chemical company with 60 manufacturing sites worldwide.

He earned his accreditation in public relations in 2002, and has worked in the profession for 20 years. He has served on the PRSA Houston Chapter Board of Directors and as an Assembly Delegate. Aaron has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Texas at Arlington, and is currently enrolled at Syracuse University completing a Master’s in Communications Management.

Aaron has served on the Board of Directors for the North Channel Area Chamber of Commerce (east of Houston) since 2006, and was elected the 2008 Chairman. He also has served in leadership roles for several Houston-area non-profit organizations, including Harris County Commissioner Sylvia Garcia’s youth and senior programs, North Channel Assistance Ministries (food pantry) and Betty’s Haven (women’s shelter).

He lives in Tomball, TX with his wife and two children.
