CSR and green initiatives are no longer viewed as add-ons—they are strategic imperatives. More consumers are demanding that brands be socially responsible, even going so far as to base their purchasing decisions on whether brands support good causes—despite the changes brought about by the recession. And the public is savvy to any hint of green-washing.
This means that CSR and green initiatives have become top priorities for PR professionals and communicators. They recognize that an organization can reap reputational and financial gains from a strong, transparent and sincere CSR program.
Still, questions abound: How do you create an authentic communications message around your CSR commitments? How do you determine best issues/causes to support? How do you leverage the power of PR to boost your CSR and green PR presence? What exactly is PR’s role in CSR and green PR? And how do you measure your effectiveness for consumers and the C-suite?
In this PR News Webinar, you’ll discover the latest CSR communications trends, the business case for communicating authentic CSR and green PR activities and a methodology for developing a strategic CSR communications plan. You’ll get behind-the-scenes CSR case studies from leaders in this area and learn how to apply next practices in CSR to your organization.
In this PR News Webinar, you will learn:
- The latest trends in green PR and social responsibility
- Strategies for launching CSR or green PR campaigns – including detailed case studies
- How to forge meaningful and measurable CSR partnerships – including lessons learned
- To tie your CSR and green PR efforts to reputation and sales
- How to boost employee engagement in CSR initiatives
