Indeed, $118.4 billion will be spent on content marketing, video marketing and social media this year. That’s according to the State of Content Marketing 2013, which was released by Wishpond.
The report, attributed to Salesforce.com, features of potpourri of statistics on the explosive growth of content marketing. For example, 90% of consumers find custom content useful while 68% of consumers spend time reading content from a brand they are interested in.
Whatever your content-marketing mission, this infographic can serve as a guidepost, as investments into content creation (both financial and time-wise) start to eat up more and more of the budget pie.
