PR News Announces CSR Awards Finalists


Helping 10 million children so far in its 10 years of existence,
Amway's One by One Campaign for Children will be inducted into
the Hall of Fame at the PR News CSR Awards luncheon
in February.

It's no secret that organizations are tapping into powerful engagement opportunities with corporate social responsibility initiatives. And why not? A Nov. 2012 TBWA study found that nearly three-quarters (71%) of young adults prefer to buy from a socially responsible company. That's strong motivation to differentiate from the competition when it comes to green, cause-related and giving-back programs. Forward-thinking organizations are doing CSR right, and this is what PR News’ annual CSR Awards are all about: honoring the most effective CSR communications initiatives.

This year's awards feature 30 categories, plus our CSR A-List (PR agencies doing stellar CSR work for their clients) and Hall of Fame inductees, which include such companies as Amway, Baxter International, Coca-Cola Enterprises CVS Caremark and UPS. We present here our CSR Awards finalists—congratulations to all of them. The winners will be announced at the CSR Awards luncheon on February 11 at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. Keynoting the luncheon event will be Kelly Caffarelli, president of the Home Depot Foundation.
