The Boston Globe will begin publishing a new, expanded Sunday Travel section starting in October. It will offer information on national and international travel, and publishers
hope to position The Globe as the number one source of information for New England travel. New consumer features, practical planning tips, guides to travel Web sites and updates
on airports will be among the new features. The Globe will also launch a local news section for Boston's southern suburbs. "Globe South" will appear every Thursday and Sunday.
