The work ranges from creating employee volunteer programs to global CSR reporting, and much more in between.
For Bank of America, APCO was tasked with telling BofA’s global CSR story in a way that resonated with key stakeholders, in an environment unfriendly to the financial services industry. Working with BofA to develop its first two CSR reports—in 2011 and 2012—the reports give a comprehensive and transparent view of the bank's business and its plans to improve in the coming years. APCO engaged with more than 100 internal stakeholders to tell a "one bank" story, and a host of external experts provided outside perspective. Results: Both Bank of America reports earned a B+ rating from the GRI and were well received by external stakeholders as fair and balanced. —Scott Van Camp
