Top Women in PR 2014: Pam Fielding

Pam Fielding, President, SevenTwenty Strategies

Pam is a pioneer in leveraging digital strategies to advance the issue agendas of the world’s top brands and their trade associations. She founded SevenTwenty Strategies, her integrated public relations and public affairs firm in 1999 and today it’s ranked among the top 11 independent public relations firms serving the public affairs specialty. Pam coauthored the first book on digital advocacy and this year produced the first documentary exploring how citizens can leverage the power of digital advocacy to shape legislation.

Pam led the firm to create a groundbreaking digital advocacy technology in 2014, Globeworthy, which is a fully functional petition platform that helps European citizens learn about issues of importance, identify their Member of European Parliament using a postal code and submit a complaint petition to their representatives. Pam’s mission has remained consistent throughout her work: helping citizens and their organization create meaningful dialogue with policy makers and shape legislation that advances the public interest.
