THREE NEW PR WEB SITES

Three PR organizations recently unveiled new Web sites:

MediaMap, Cambridge, Mass., a company that provides a database of media addresses and editorial opportunities for the high-tech and other selected industries, has unveiled a site at http://www.mediamap.com.

In addition to providing information about the company's products and services, the site will allow MediaMap customers to update their media directories online, using the company's MediaManager software. Mediamap recently switched to monthly, rather than quarterly, updates for its customers. (MediaMap,617/374-9300)

The Center for Corporate Community Relations at Boston College, Chestnut Hill, Mass., opened a site at http://www.bc.edu/bc_org/avp/acavp/cccr. The home page lists information on the organization's training programs, information services and conferences.

It also includes hot links to some of the organization's several hundred corporate members. (Center, 617/552-4545)

PR Watch, a quarterly watchdog newsletter chronicling apparent abuses in public affairs and grassroots programs, now has a Web site at http://users.aol.com/srampton/center.html

In addition to offering information about current and past issues, the site also includes information about seminars and "counter-PR" research services available to journalists and public-interest groups from the newsletter's publisher, the Center for Media & Democracy, Madison, Wis.
