- Fleishman-Hillard has pulled out of its PR contract with embattled tiremaker Bridgestone/Firestone, even as the Japanese corporation faces congressional inquiries over its handling of a massive
tire recall. Dave Senay, executive VP, senior partner and general manager of F-H's St. Louis office, which handled the account, told the company of the withdrawal on Sunday. In his only public comment on
the matter, Senay said F-H resigned because "it became evident we could no longer be of service."
