MaryLee Sachs will succeed Thomas Hoog as president and CEO of Hill and Knowlton USA, effective January 1. Hoog will become a non-executive chair when he retires at
year's end. Sachs, with H&K for 15 years, most recently served as director, worldwide marketing communications practice.
David Krawitz, former president and managing director of Powell Tate/Weber Shandwick, joins APCO Worldwide as managing director and SVP of the Los Angeles office. He'll
contribute expertise in healthcare and public affairs.
David DeVries takes over as senior PR manager for Sprint PCS in Chicago. DeVries, a panelist and presenter earlier this year at the PR NEWS Strategic Online Communications
Semi-nar, previously worked at 3com as consumer PR manager.
