    companies like FedEx, Ingersoll-Rand Co., American International Group and Citigroup in the event of another catastrophic event like the Sept. 11 attacks, allowing quicker
    communication and coordination of disaster relief and business recovery.
  • Weber Shandwick names Sheri Benjamin president of its U.S. technology practice, reporting to Joe Kessler, president of the firm's global technology group. Benjamin founded
    Weber Shandwick's Benjamin Group in 1988. Execs say the appointment signals Weber Shandwick's confidence in and commitment to the technology sector.
