CEOs are finally recognizing the importance of communication ... at least with each other. AT&T gets patriotic publicity through the development of CEO Link, a
network of top-level execs linked by a wireless telephone network and secure Web site, both to be created by AT&T. The network will link executives (even competitiors) from
companies like FedEx, Ingersoll-Rand Co., American International Group and Citigroup in the event of another catastrophic event like the Sept. 11 attacks, allowing quicker
communication and coordination of disaster relief and business recovery.
