    lawsuit alleging racial bias only six years ago. Maybe there's hope for Nextel Communications, hit last week with a racial and sexual discrimination lawsuit filed by 300 current
    and former employees. Meanwhile, Levi Strauss and Fannie Mae placed second and third, respectively, in the Fortune list.
  • Guess Ludgate Communications CEO Kay Breakstone had other plans when her firm announced its merger agreement with Golin Harris last week. Breakstone has joined forces

  • Internet research powerhouses Media Metrix and Jupiter Communications announce plans to marry. The merged company, Jupiter Media Metrix, will have a combined market value
    in excess of $1 billion and a worldwide client base of more than 1,700 companies.
  • The online job site WorkInPR.com hits the Web in the wake of a U.S. Department of Labor report indicating that PR jobs are expected to increase at a faster than average
    rate over the next six years. The site is endorsed by PRSA and the Council of PR Firms.
