Tamara Young is Manager of Corporate Communications for JetBlue Airways.  She has been a JetBlue crewmember since February 2012.
 
As an official spokeswoman for the company, Tamara develops and manages external communications campaigns supporting JetBlue's mission to Inspire Humanity both in the air and on the ground. She provides communications support for the airline's corporate social responsibility, sustainability, customer experience, corporate real estate and marketing platforms. Tamara also supports the airline's crisis communications efforts.
 
In addition to day-to-day media relations activities, Tamara has managed and coordinated several award-winning programs and events including the launches for the airline's Mint premium service, Fly-Fi onboard internet product and the JetBlue Foundation, as well as JetBlue's Humanitarian Aid effort to Haiti and its Live From T5 concert series. Other projects have included strategic communication planning for the media reveals of two of the airline's special branded aircraft – "Vets in Blue," which honors military service members and "Blue Bravest," a special livery to raise awareness for the FDNY Foundation. 
 
Prior to joining JetBlue, Tamara was an account supervisor at UniWorld Group where she managed multicultural and general market communications programs for a variety of clients including The Home Depot, Johnson Products Company, Metropolitan College of New York, Colgate and CVS.
 
Before UniWorld Group, Tamara also held roles of increased responsibility at Dan Klores Communications, Time Warner Cable and Formula PR.
 
She earned her B.A. in Mass Media from Hampton University.
