Taking A ‘Peak’ At Online Shoppers

New research from "The Media Audit" shows 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. as the being the most popular "daypart" among online shoppers who made 12 or more purchases during the past year.

The collective adult population of the 87 metropolitan markets surveyed regularly by the Audit exceeds 137 million people. It says age groupings are much more revealing than
are income figures when it comes to online shopping:

  • About 10% of the 12-time purchasers were younger than 25.
  • Nearly 53% of the 12-time purchasers were between the ages of 25 and 44.
