In terms of corporate reputation, at the moment there is only one way business software firm SAS can go: down. The reason? SAS, based in Cary, NC, landed No. 1 on Fortune’s 2010 Best Places to Work list, and because of that (coupled with quality products and services) the company is riding high on the reputation meter. For a large public company, earning the top spot on a best place to work list may be just a small blip on the communications plan.
