Raul E. Cisneros is the deputy director in the Center for New Media and Promotions at the U.S. Census Bureau. He directs digital media production and promotional work in the center along with Web and social media activities.

In 2009 and 2010, Cisneros was the chief of the 2010 Census Publicity Office, where he oversaw a $362 million communications contract for an award-winning 2010 Census advertising and outreach campaign.

Cisneros has extensive public relations and strategic communications experience at the national and state levels. He has been named to Hispanic Business magazine’s list of 100 leading influentials. Cisneros is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy.
