Jennifer Gonzalez-Stansfield

Jennifer is a seasoned public relations strategist with more than 17 years of experience planning and implementing programs that advance brand awareness among multicultural consumers on both sides of the border. As vice president of VPE PR's Consumer Strategies Group, she oversees the agency's roster of national consumer accounts, including McDonald's, Disneyland, and Nestlé. In addition, she plays a key role in the development of new business opportunities and leading social media initiatives for the agency and its clients.

Jennifer joined VPE after a six-year career as director of diversity communications at PainePR (now Citizen Relations). During her time there she played a key role in building the agency's multicultural practice and leading her team to be selected as the Diversity Agency of Record for General Motors representing the Cadillac, GMC, Buick, and Chevrolet brands. She implemented Suzuki's first-ever U.S. Hispanic News Bureau; led award-winning campaigns for Procter & Gamble brands like Old Spice and Pampers; and led social marketing programs for government organizations like the California Department of Public Health. Her professional experience includes serving as senior editor at Ask Jeeves.

She received a BA in communications and public relations from the Universidad Latinoamericana in her hometown of Mexico City where she started her career working as a journalist for a local magazine.
