Seth Marquart is director - strategy & planning for George P. Johnson Experience Marketing. He specifically focuses on their WorldWide Nissan and Infiniti accounts, providing strategy and direction for over 50+ events per year. Previously he was the senior digital marketing strategist for global conferences and events at IBM. In that role he oversaw the development and implementation of the overall digital & social strategies for all of IBM's Global Conferences. He also helped develop the social influencer programs for the various different brands inside of IBM.
Seth has more than 10 years of experience working in various industries developing marketing strategies, campaigns and content for addressing the needs of targeted audiences. His experience spans product management and product marketing to demand generation and social media. Most recently Seth has brought his entertainment marketing background to the tech industry where he currently strives to bring the sexy aspect of Hollywood to the not-so-sexy tech industry.
Before joining IBM in 2013, Seth worked in the film and entertainment industry at a talent agency, booking and marketing some of the top actors in the industry. Not only did he help build and establish brands and careers of some well-known A-list actors, he also successfully marketed and numerous nationwide tours for some of the top comedians in the industry.
