Joshua Karpf is director, digital media, at PepsiCo, a $60 billion global beverage and snacks company with a portfolio of iconic brands including Pepsi, Frito-Lay, Gatorade and Quaker Oats. In his role, he helps develops programs that leverage digital media to communicate with online and offline constituencies, build connections and deliver on company objectives. His team also manages social media across the organization.

Josh has worked on some of the organization’s most advanced digital and emerging media programs including PepsiCo10, an incubator program that connects the organization with start-up companies in the digital space. He launched Gatorade Mission Control, the company’s first real-time social hub, which delivers elevated engagement and social insights for the Gatorade brand. Josh also runs digital education efforts across the organization. Prior to joining PepsiCo Josh spent six years at the General Electric Co. in social media, marketing communications, employee communications and public relations.

Josh is also a member of the ad:Tech Board Advisory Board and its Start-Up Advisory Board. He is a graduate of Boston University with a degree in mass communications.
