As SVP of communications and talent strategy, Alfredo Richard is responsible for directing all corporate, internal and crisis communications, as well as community affairs and programming publicity efforts for Telemundo Media. He also oversees Telemundo Network's on-air talent development and cross promotion initiatives. Working closely with senior management at the network and the station group, as well as with the international, digital and cable groups, Alfredo is charged with creating, implementing and managing communication strategies to position the company among its key stakeholders. He reports directly to Emilio Romano, president, Telemundo Media.

Alfredo joined Telemundo in 2004 from Claxson Interactive Group, the cable arm of the Cisneros Group media conglomerate, where he served as SVP, communications. At Claxson, Alfredo successfully managed communications through the company's merger to position Claxson as a key player in the South Florida and Latin American media and entertainment industries.

Prior to Claxson, Alfredo was VP of corporate communications and public responsibility at MTV Networks in New York City, where he worked on all of MTV Networks' Corporate Communications priority projects and oversaw the company's expanding public responsibility efforts, as well as the development of internal communications programs.
