Brian Howard

Brian Clark Howard covers environment, science, tech, and other topics, and is active in social media. He started at National Geographic in 2011. Before that, he was a journalist at the Daily Mail, the Daily Green and E/The Environmental Magazine. He has a master's in journalism from Columbia University and bachelor's degrees in environmental sciences.

Brian won the staff Geography Bee at Nat Geo and enjoys snowboarding, biking, and exploring the world. He lives in Washington, D.C.
