Say What?

PR, being the creative industry it is, has its fair share of clever job titles these days. We loved this announcement: Christina Lopak has been hired as a "talent recruitment
alchemist" by the headhunter firm K. Russo Associates in Greenwich, Conn.

Last we checked, the term "alchemy" referred to the conversion of base metals into gold - by seemingly magical devices and procedures. We're not sure where Lopak acquired this
supernatural talent (a company release indicated only that she previously worked for another placement firm in Stamford).

But what we really want to know is whether Lopak indeed has the power to turn the dregs of society into consummate PR job candidates. And if so, is she planning to bottle the
secret formula and sell it on the market? She stands to make a killing, given the ongoing labor shortage.
