Caryl Bixon-Gordon, president of Caryl Communications, was recently named one of New Jersey’s “Best 50 Women in Business” by NJBIZ magazine. The award recognizes recipients for outstanding achievement in their advocacy for women, professional and personal accomplishments and community involvement.

Caryl founded the firm in 1980 and has since grown it from a sole-proprietorship to one of the most successful women-owned public relations businesses in the tri-state area. A certified WBE (Women’s Business Enterprise), Caryl Communications has garnered numerous awards from organizations such as the Public Relations Society of America, the Working Press Association of New Jersey, and the National Association of Homebuilders among others.

Caryl has earned a reputation for her outreach work on behalf of women. The firm has hired, trained and promoted many female candidates over the years. She has served as a mentor to many and enabled talented women in the industry to juggle work and family life by offering flexible schedules and creative working relationships.
