There's no room in press releases for rantings
Press releases are not a good forum for ranting. Since the high road in a press release requires being factual, polite, and professional, there's little opportunity for negative speak. If you feel the need to respond to negative publicity about you or your company, or you need to respond publicly to a lawsuit, make certain to state your position objectively. Your goal is to put forward a confident, professional and even keeled image. Ranting will make you look desperate, unprofessional, and, in some cases, guilty.
