Monthly design mag Architecture is making a major shift in focus, from a pure design book to a service title that includes more information on products and services. The change
positions the magazine as a trade pub, leaving only Architectural Record as a national architectural design publication. VNU, publisher of Architecture, says that if the new
editorial approach does not work, the 90-year-old title will be shuttered. Editor-in-chief Reed Kroloff will leave the publication, and the publisher is in the process of
