Raising the Bar on PR Accreditation

TheUniversal Accreditation Board has launched an effort to re-engineer the Examination for Accreditation in Public Relations. UAB Chair Douglas Coffey believes the rapid
evolution of the profession and the increasing impact of technology means it's time the 34-year old exam be overhauled. "We're looking to make it more universal and uniform in its
consis-tency," he said, "there are a number of ways it can be improved." Doing so, he added, would make it easier for local PRSA chapters to administer. More at
