PRSA And Red Cross Join Forces

The PRSA has teamed with the American Red Cross to recruit and train PR and public affairs pros to support communications initiatives during local and national disasters. The
partnership, dubbed "The Power of Two," will include two-hour volunteers who will assist in writing announcements and training videos; two-day volunteers who will serve as media
spokespeople during a disaster; two-week volunteers who will travel to a disaster site to provide support and two-times a year volunteers who will provide expertise as members of
the Red Cross PR planning committee.
