Stonyfield Farm Taps 360 Public Relations

May 15, 2008 | 2:58 pm

BOSTON, May 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Following a national review, Stonyfield Farm, Londonderry, New Hampshire, has selected 360 Public Relations for a series of online campaigns to support its YoBaby(R), YoMommy(TM) and Oikos(TM) brands.

"360PR's combined focus on moms and social media is helping us to deepen our connection with consumers and extending the important efforts of our in-house communications team," said Alice Markowitz, vice president of communications, Stonyfield Farm.

The initiatives are designed to support the launch of new products: YoMommy, the first yogurt for pre-natal women, YoBaby Simply Plain, and Oikos Organic Greek Yogurt new blueberry and honey flavors.

"Stonyfield Farm's organic yogurts are right in step with the healthy choices moms are making every day for themselves and their families," said Laura Tomasetti, managing director and founder, 360 Public Relations. "We're brand-fans and excited to help Stonyfield reach consumers online."

About Stonyfield Farm

Stonyfield Farm, celebrating its 25th year, is the world's leading organic yogurt company. Its all natural and certified organic yogurt, smoothies, milk, cultured soy, frozen yogurt and ice cream are distributed nationally. The company advocates that healthy food can only come from a healthy planet. Its organic ingredient purchases keep over 60,000 farm acres free of toxic, persistent pesticides and chemical fertilizers that can contaminate soil, rivers and drinking water. To help reduce global warming, Stonyfield offsets all of the C02 emissions generated from its facility energy use. The company also started a nonprofit called Climate Counts (climatecounts.org) which shows people how they can help fight climate change by the way they shop and invest. Stonyfield also donates 10% of its profits to efforts that help protect and restore the Earth.
