Looking for maximum exposure for your big news? Don't call the networks. According to a new study on media consumption, the 25 magazines with top circulation have a rating of
10.2, beating the top 25 TV programs (with an average rating of 7.3) by 40%. FCB Media conducted the study, which compares ratings for magazines and TV shows in a variety of
demographics. The difference in gross rating points is particularly marked among blacks and women.
