Online Press Releases Are Good for Local Visibility, Too
It seems odd that something that provides global visibility can also perform well in providing local visibility for a single locale. When writing a locally-charged release, include words that will act as magnets to pull your release towards people interested in news about that location:
- Use identifying names (towns, neighborhoods, boroughs, etc.) associated with the locale
- Refer to local landmarks, sports teams and events in your release
- Use these terms and names in the headline, subhead and early and frequently in the body of the release for the optimum magnetic effect
