We always knew there were little men inside them there machines! Nedd/Detroit Public Relations introduces a new service for the prosaically challenged. The firm's Web-based Press Release Builder (found at publicityonline.com) prompts users to fill out an online form, answering 10 "easy" questions about their "newsworthy story ideas." The service then promises to spit out a "dynamic, effective press release" in three days' time. The cost is $250 for a release and $500 for the firm to pitch the idea to reporters. All major credit cards are accepted. We just want to know if the "newsworthiness" aspect is guaranteed. (318/567-6333)
