PR VIP Dies

One of public relations' greatest champions and most progressive leaders has passed away at the age of 68. Patrick John Jackson, editor of PR Repoerter for more than
three decades, former president of the PRSA and senior counselor of Jackson, Jackson, and Wagner, died on March 22 at his home in New Hampshire. Jackson guided clients, from
Fortune 500 companies to bootstrapping nonprofits, in realizing the value of public relations and bringing it to the forefront of an organization. He became a trusted
source for innovative PR advice. Wrote Kathleen L. Lewton, PRSA chair and CEO, "Pat extended his wisdom and his warmth to countless numbers of individual practitioners... He never
said no."
