At its annual meeting Aug. 10-13, the Public Relations division of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC) announced its new leadership for 1997. Don Stacks, a professor at the University of Miami (Florida), will become chair. The new vice chair is Bill Adams, a PR professor at Florida International University, North Miami, Fla.
AEJMC, based at the University of South Carolina, Columbia, is the professional organization accrediting university programs in journalism, mass communication and public relations. (AEJMC, 803/777-2005)
