Advice to corporate communication execs: Listen carefully
Biggest challenge in corporate communications today: The rapid proliferation of communications channels - particularly those that are 24 hours in nature - has created the need for increased responsibility and accountability by communications executives. We must be mindful and sensitive to the way our industry is evolving.
A career mistake (misstep) I wish I never made, but learned from: Earlier on in my career, I was very hard on myself and was consumed by my work. As I have gained experience, I have learned how to put my career in perspective, how to manage my expectations and how to prioritize my workload so that I am not fighting each and every battle all the time.
