PR NEWS Announces Finalists in Plat PR, Top PR People Awards

Working behind the scenes -- that's what the best PR professionals are supposed to do, week in and week out. Yet there comes a time when the spotlight shifts from the company
and its (often celebrity) CEO to the PR function - the campaigns and initiatives that are created and the people who are the business drivers and message deliverers. It's often a
thankless job, but somebody's got to do it.

But now comes the time for PR NEWS to pull the curtain up and honor the most outstanding PR campaigns and notable PR professionals. Culled from hundreds of entries and judged
by an esteemed panel of PR professionals, the winners of this year's Platinum PR Awards and PR People Awards are a testament to what can be accomplished with the best people, the
right strategy and effective execution.

The finalists listed below will be honored at PR NEWS' Awards Luncheon October 6 at the Grand Hyatt in New York City, where we'll name a first-place winner in each category
as well as the honorable mentions. We want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who entered this year's award programs. Even if you are not a finalist, you are moving the
needle in PR by promoting your efforts and proving PR's value in the marketplace. Look for profiles of all the winners in the Oct. 4 All-Stars issue, and we're looking forward to
seeing you at the Awards Luncheon.
