PR Exec’s Good Cause…

Nancy Carr, CBS vice president for communications, has an unusual outlet she wants to publicize. For the last year and a half Carr has been affiliated with Los Angeles-based
Feral Cat Caretakers' Coalition (feralcatcaretakers.org). Through her work with the organization, Carr has become expert at "TNR," an acronym used to "trap, neuter and return"
cats that Carr finds when she volunteers her time as a caretaker at two well-known entertainment venues in Southern California. If they are not adoptable, Carr returns the cats to
the site(s), which she would not name out of concern for the felines. Carr's story was first reported on in The Los Angeles Times. Carr has been picking up and caring for strays
cats in her Los Angeles neighborhood for the last 15 years. "It comes from the heart," Carr says, explaining her desire to help cats in need. "It's something that I've always been
passionate about. I see the need in front of me and I can't not do it. I'm their lifeline." Contact: [email protected].
