  • Wirthlin Worldwide, an international strategic research and consulting firm, names Sandra Bauman and Beth Strackbein VPs. Bauman is VP and director
    of marketing and development and will take responsibility for the external positioning of Wirthlin's Internet research and strategy division. Strackbein will serve as VP of the
    communications and marketing team.
  • Primedia appoints Jenny Parker director of PR for New York. Previously, Parker promoted news coverage for ABC News.
  • Internet Wire promotes M. Reynolds Morgan to VP of the western region. Morgan has previously served as director of the northwest region and director of the
    Silicon Valley bureau of Business Wire.
  • Kroll Associates, a business investigations, security and intelligence firm, names Jerome Hauer head of its newly-formed Crisis and Consequence Management
    Group.

Association Moves

  • Mary Hilton moves into the public affairs director slot at the American Advertising Federation.
  • The Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) names Jeneen Garcia director of education. Garcia replaces Elaine Averick, who retires at the end
    of 2000.

Agency Moves

  • Ketchum names Jon Higgins director of the London office. Dave Samson is promoted to director of Ketchum San Francisco. Paul McKeon takes over
    as director of the Global Tech practice.
  • Brodeur Worldwide names Andy Beaupre chief marketing officer. Beaupre will lead Brodeur's marketing, advertising, public relations and new business
    development efforts and will continue working directly with clients. Michael Brewer becomes chief client service officer, a new post. Dan Schutt assumes Brewer's
    duties as U.S. leader for the consumer technology practice, and Gretchen Dock is named EVP. Dock will work with Brewer to optimize client service.
  • Deborah Lilienthal joins Hill and Knowlton as senior managing director of the national corporate practice and director of the litigation group.
  • Miller/Shandwick names Emma Pearson-Stoner VP of account services.
  • Waggener Edstrom adds six new execs to its management roster. Katie Kemp joins the agency as EVP, and Megan Kahn, Corey du Browa, Bob

    , Annette Nemetz and Daniele Joudene sign on as VPs.
  • Jim Monroe, formerly with MCI WorldCom, NorthPoint Communications and LCI International joins Blanc & Otus as general manager and SVP. Monroe's
    experience in telecommunications and technology will be put to use with the agency's high-tech clients.
  • The William Mills Agency, a provider of public relations for the financial services industry, appoints Catherine Laws and Kelly Williams as VPs. Laws and
    Williams previously served as group directors.
  • Fischer and Partners, a strategic healthcare communications firm, hires Robb Rice as VP and managing director of media services.
  • Raymond Crosby moves up the ladder at Crosby Marketing Communications. Crosby will now serve as president and COO, a position formerly occupied by his
    father and agency founder, Ralph Crosby. The elder Crosby moves to chairman of the board and CEO.
