Corporate Moves

  • Joe Fisher is the new CEO at Streampipe.com of Alexandria,
    Va. Fisher, and the company's new chairman, Kurt Krauss, come to Streampipe
    from Burson- Marsteller, where Krauss held the Worldwide CFO position,
    and Fisher was U.S. CEO.
  • Rosemarie Yancosek has been promoted to director of public relations
    and ally development, global business manager at the Pharmacia Corp. in
    Peapack, N.J.
  • Jim Eber has been named director of publicity at New York-based Workman
    Publishing Co.
    He had been acting director since September.
  • Paula McKenzie is the new director of communications for the Department
    of Professional Employees at the AFL-CIO in Washington.
  • The International Mass Retail Association gains a director of media
    relations and spokeswoman in Edie Clark. At IMRA, she will serve as
    the primary spokesperson and contact for all news media.

Agency Moves

  • John Moscatelli is named Anne Klein & Associates' new
    senior vice president and chief operating officer. The current COO of the
    Marlton, N.J.-based firm is Nancy L. Farwell, who has taken on a new
    assignment as senior vice president for client strategic planning.
  • New York-based Earle Palmer Brown names Lisa Robinson Packer
    general manager of Earle Palmer Brown Philadelphia Public Relations. She succeeds
    John Moscatelli.
  • Kelsey Flower moves up to management supervisor at Rochester, N.Y.-based
    Eric Mower and Associates. In addition to her duties developing strategic
    marketing strategies and communications plans, she will serve on the agency's
    Executive Committee, the managing body of the agency's Rochester office.
  • BSMG Worldwide promotes Ellen Roeckl to executive vice president
    of the firm's Benjamin Group/BSMG Worldwide West Coast technology practice.
    Roeckl had held the senior vice president and general manager of North Western
    operations slot for BG/BSMG Worldwide. Karen Klein is promoted to senior
    vice president and general manager of the firm's San Francisco office.
  • Robert J. Holland has formed Holland Communication Solutions LLC,
    in Richmond, Va. Holland previously held communication positions at AT&T,
    Lucent Technologies, and was most recently a managing editor for Capital One
    Financial.
  • Margaret Cary is appointed to the senior vice president and medical
    director position at Philadelphia-based Vox Medica. Cary previously
    was the regional director for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
  • New York-based Hill and Knowlton adds Deborah Lilienthal to
    its national corporate practice as senior managing director, and director
    of the firm's litigation group on the West Coast. She will be based in the
    agency's San Francisco office. Kathy Cripps joins the firm's New York
    office as executive managing director. Formerly of SCIENS Worldwide PR, which
    she founded, she will lead Hill and Knowlton's New York health and pharmaceutical
    practice, and co-direct the firm's national practice.
  • Kelly Dencker and Karin Armstrong, who have been with New
    York-based Manning, Selvage & Lee since 1991 and 1996, respectively,
    have both been promoted to senior vice president in the New York healthcare
    practice.
  • CMR&Z of Des Moines, Iowa, promoted Bill Brewer to senior
    vice president in the agency's public relations services group.
  • Jim Kokoris is now a partner and executive vice president of Oakbrook
    Terrace, Ill.-based JSH&A Public Relations.
  • New York-based Ketchum made some leadership changes in its Atlanta
    office - Jane Shivers is managing director and Doug Breuer is
    director.
  • Carly Rondinelli is partner and vice president of Los Angeles-based
    Urge Public Relations. Rondinelli had been general manager since January
    2000. She will continue to help oversee day-to-day operations and assist in
    the acquisition of new business.
  • Clarke & Co. promotes Steve Maquire to VP of business
    to business; Joe Donovan to group manager of business to business;
    and Jim Connelly to senior account executive of energy.
  • Miller/Shandwick Technologies moves Roger Bentley and
    John Dunlea from key staff members to senior VP.
